For the overwinter-through-summer growing season of 2022-2023, I decided to plant around 100 garlic bulbils in November 2022. The reason behind this choice was to expand my garlic crop rapidly without having to purchase additional seed stock cloves or depend on replanting harvested cloves. I hope to track the progress over the course of the growing season and look for potential improvements in the process. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Please like and comment if you find anything useful or have any tips that might assist in the process.
Garlic bulbils are small bulbs that grow on the flower stalk of the garlic plant and can be found in quantities of up to over 100 bulbils per plant (more information about garlic bulbils can be found here). The variety I used were hard-neck and I had about 50 bulbils per plant.
