Growing Garlic Bulbils – part 12 (8-May-2023) – Sneak peak at the full size cloves planted last fall.
8-May-2023, some golden hour lighting, still healthy. Looks promising, it will be interesting to see if they are planted too close together.8-May-2023, healthy as well, they look to have perked up a little since the last time.8-May-2023, they look a little better in this picture but in person it is clear that they are much smaller and there are more yellow shoots. 8-May-2023, Garlic #1, Where the first Bulbils were harvested from last year.8-May-2023, Garlic #2, side yard expansion. Looking to increase this year’s Bulbil yield and also test cutting some of the scapes earlier to attempt larger clove growth.8-May-2023, Garlic #3, some more out front to test out this bed. So far looking excellent. This bed tends to get more animal grazing than the ones in the back. Although the deer have been taking some of their share from one of our baby apple tree.
