Failure to transplant – Growing Garlic Bulbils 2022-2023, series – part 17 (04-June-2023)

Looking ok but some sadness and more pronounced yellowing. These will need some extra care.
Some of these are looking really rough around the bottom and might not make it. I will keep a close eye but it looks like corrective action will be needed and it is probably too late for some.
The transplants failed to take hold. The few that looked like they might have had a chance to make it didn’t. Lesson is don’t transplant to an area that isn’t primed to receive them. My mistake was thinking that they were heartier than they are. The heartiness might be more isolated to when they were initially dried and waiting to be planted. Once these start growing they can easily deteriorate if not handled with great care.
